Do we have any idea where these videos were shot? ANNDDDD how about those metrics, wonder how close those are to the truth?

0-100 km/h: 3.9 seconds
Top Speed: 280 km/h

I just doubt we get those pipes in proddy form. They seem like they came from lambo or soemthing, look at that ridiculous Honeycomb in there. No way they make emissions and dB requirements as is...

I could care less if we do/don't get them.

I might even look into switching them out.

Always been a fan of titanium tips.

Will the honeycomb exhaust come standard? It looks amazing and it may be contributing to the amazing sound from the Golf R400.

One thing I just thought about is if they just make some honeycomb insert just for cosmetic purposes. Seems like there's a growing amount of car makers putting more focused than they did before on exhaust design, might be a reason for VW to do something come production.

Doesn't the shape and design of the exhaust pipe contribute to the sound a car makes?

It sure does and there's a chance that honeycomb end contributes to this or is just simply a design piece that does nothing intended for sound.
