235 r19?

Anyone want to speculate on tire sizes for the R400? The Golf R comes stock with 235R19's, probabaly similar for the R400 or will they go wider, bigger rims, staggered?

Just needs to be the right style of wheel and dimensions and it can work well.

Indeed, I love a nice thick sidewall with a bit of flex. meatier sidewalls compress better during a curve resulting in a wider contact patch...

I think it'll even work better with playing with PSI numbers to find that sweet spot.

Indeed, but low pro tires inherently have stiffer sidewalls. PSI won't drastically change that...

True, the metal in them make them super tough, tough enough that installing some specific sizes can be a PITA, for models like the R400 that would be running a bigger wheel with low pro.

Meh, shouldn't be a problem if you're sticking with the same basic width and circumference. The only real worry if you want to go for less rim and more sidewall is making sure you can clear the brakes without problem...

Yeah that's an important one, need to clear those calipers. Will be interesting to see the range of practical wheel setups from smallest to biggest in specifics
